Program Administration Intern
For this position we are looking to hire an alumni from our build internship.
Term | Flexible start date between December 1st 2019 and January 1st 2020- July 15th.
This position is ideal for those interested in learning more about non-profit management, administration, grant writing, affordable housing, and program planning. Another intention of this position is to take on special assignments. The special assignments will be selected based on the program interns' interests and current topics and projects. A few examples could be:
LBC landscaping scale jumping planning; community orchard on campus
Inclusiveness; Increasing diversity with student recruitment
LBC community art planning
Planning for a sustainable campus; solar, water cisterns, etc.
The following job responsibilities and compensation are as follows:
- outreach and marketing
- assist program director in recruitment and selection of interns
- assist program director with day to day coordination of the internship program.
- manage website, update blogs, and oversee social media platforms.
- field inquiries in office, by phone, and email
- cater and facilitate events and workshops
- running errands
- help out on the jobsite as needed
Office Interns will receive lodging free of charge at the campus Ranch House. The free lodging will include the following amenities: bulk food items, washing machine, household utilities, and wireless internet (if available). CR will additionally provide a monthly food stipend of $100 cash at the beginning of each month. Note: Education and mentoring in non-profit management and administration is included as part of this position’s compensation. Intern will be sent to specialized workshops and trainings as they are available.
