Restoring Lasting Balance: A New Approach to Tribal Housing
“We live in a world built on a debt that must be repaid. Indigenous nations have borne the costs of progress since first contact over 500 years ago.
Now is the time to invest in Indigenous communities, support self-determination, and help restore what has too often been taken. Giving back is not charity — it is responsibility, equity, and an opportunity to build a more just future for all.

Building Tomorrow's Builders Today
To confront the unique challenges of the Navajo Nation, we need unique solutions. Twelve families will build affordable, sustainable, safe, and stable homes, with positive effects health and employment that last a lifetime. Thirty students will learn the skills needed for established and lasting careers. The Navajo Nation will gain an engine for a culturally appropriate restorative model that can be adapted for Indigenous communities across the country.
